Ruth Barnhart

Dr. Ruth Barnhart was a pioneer in the field of pediatrics in the Roanoke Valley. As the first female pediatrician in the area, she dedicated 36 years to treating children in her solo practice in the Medical Arts Building on Franklin Road.
